USA Luge, Team Worldwide extend partnership through 2030 Winter Games
LAKE PLACID, N.Y. — USA Luge and Team Worldwide have extended their longtime partnership through the 2030 Games in the French Alps, continuing a relationship that began in 1998 and helps keep the U.S. national team moving around the globe.
Team Worldwide provides freight, logistics and transportation services to USA Luge, playing an important role in getting the team’s sleds, equipment and supplies to training camps and competitions throughout the international racing season.
“Team Worldwide is honored to continue its storied partnership with USA Luge,” said CEO and Chairman of Team Worldwide, Jason Brunson. “Having watched and supported multiple generations of USA Luge athletes through 28 years of partnership, I can earnestly say that this organization and the USA Luge athletes truly represent values that closely align with our own, demonstrating commitment, trust, and integrity on a daily basis. The work ethic they share drives them to strive for gold through continued improvements with every run down the hill. We are proud to not only be the official logistics partner for USA Luge, but to call everyone at USA Luge family! Eyes on GOLD, GO USA!”
USA Luge athletes compete throughout North America, Europe and Asia during the FIL World Cup season, requiring the transportation of racing sleds, tools, spare parts and other equipment between venues on tight schedules. Team Worldwide’s logistics expertise helps ensure that the equipment athletes and coaches rely upon arrives safely and on time.
The extension comes as USA Luge begins a new four-year Olympic cycle following the 2026 Games and builds toward 2030. Team Worldwide’s logo will continue to be displayed on athlete race gear and team jackets. The Winnsboro, Texas-based company will see branding and advertising during World Cup and World Championship broadcasts in the United States, hospitality opportunities at domestic World Cup events and other benefits.
“We are proud to continue our partnership with Team Worldwide in support of USA Luge and its athletes as they represent the United States around the world,” said Scott Riewald, USA Luge CEO. “Having a partner for more than a quarter of a century is not something you see every day in the world of Olympic sport and should be celebrated. We are honored to continue with Team Worldwide behind us over the next four years and are beyond grateful for their trust and support.”
Team Worldwide is a global freight forwarder offering transportation and logistics solutions, including air freight, ocean freight, ground transportation and other supply chain services.
The renewed agreement continues USA Luge’s efforts to maintain long-term relationships with corporate partners that provide both financial and value-in-kind support to the organization and its athletes.
